So the "The Grotesque Carnivale and Menagerie" came to town today. It's basically a circus that acts like it never moved past the early 1900s.
Nobody ever takes their kids there, really. They get nightmares. And I don't really blame them, because that place is pretty darn freaky. Adding the adjective "Grotesque" is probably a damn good indicator of what you're in for.
Seriously, they have their own freak show and everything. They had some poor schmuck there that literally had bugs living underneath his skin, and some huge brute of a strongman. And let me tell you, they really over-used the smoke machine on the strongman, I could barely breathe!
I saw this little girl at the Carnivale or whatever. I don't think she has any parents or anything. I've seen her around all the time, actually...
Damn this town is a weird place.
